Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae is a decent soundtrack from Vishal Chandrasekhar, who shows promise but does not make use of the opportunity in full. There are two songs in the middle which stand out and should help the film gain its momentum.

The famous ‘Ek Gau Mein Ek Kisaan’ line gets a remixed version, which has a good beat but ultimately falls down to lethargic writing. Some more work on the lyrics would have made it a great track to revisit.
Govinda Govinda: Singer – GV Prakash Kumar
A plain and pedestrian song on the trials faced in life by the central character. GVP does his best, but much can’t be saved.
Kattaduraikku: Singer – Gangai Amaren, Senthildass
For some reason, this song reminds you of Ilaiyaraaja’s jolly jams. Gangai Amaren is lively as usual, and this one becomes our PICK thanks to him.
Hai, En Kai Mela: Singers – Anirudh, Shaktisree Gopalan
Vishal Chandrasekhar really shows a lot of promise in songs of this category. Anirudh and Shaktisree Gopalan do exactly what is required. Our PICK.
SBKT Title Track: Singers – Arunraja Kamaraj, Premgi Amaren
On familiar lines, a track which should be working with the film as a background score.
