Rajinikanth’s Lingaa goes to historic places in Dubai

Team Lingaa will fly to historic places in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to shoot portions of a duet number with Anushka Shetty. While Rajinikanth’s opening song is reported to be canned in the exotic locations of Macau, Hong Kong and France, a chunk of the song is also like to be filmed in the UAE, says a source. Rajinikanth and co. will fly towards the end of this month for a three-day trip to the historic Al Bastakiya situated in the Bur Dubai district which houses a large of ancient mosques. The team has also zeroed in on a lavish restaurant in the man-made Yas Island located in Abu Dhabi to shoot few portions of the song.

With the audio launch likely to be held on November 14th, Lingaa is inching towards completion and the post-production is going on parallelly. Starring Rajinikanth, Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty in lead roles, the film has Santhanam and Jagabathi Babu in important roles. It has music by AR Rahman.
