Rajini Murugan is still miles away from what D.Imman is capable of. Keeping the masses in mind, the composer has rushed out a safe album without experimenting much.

Rajini Murugan: Singer – Sivakarthikeyan: Mediocre is the word for the album’s opener which is a typical Imman song on all fronts. Sivakarthikeyan’s enthusiastic vocals are the saviour here.

Un Mela Oru Kannu: Singers – Jithin Raj, Mahalakshmi Iyer: Melodies are Imman’s strength and he does play to it very well. Same is the case with this track which has a couple of lovely interludes. Somewhere in the background, Kayal and Jeeva do linger, but it still manages to be OUR PICK.

Aavi Parakkum Teakadai: Singers – VM Mahalingam, Badava Gopi: A passable track which has quirky lyrics as its highlight. The beats and sounds are however, something which are used to. Will surely connect with the masses.

Yennama Ippadi Panreengale Maa: Singer – D.Imman: Released as a single earlier, this is a fun track with its own share of good lyrics. One does feel a mainstream singer like Velmurugan would have done better justice to the song, rather the composer getting on the mic himself. One more PICK in the album.

Jigiru Jiguru: Singers – Diwakar, Kalpana Raghavendar: A plain folk track which is a drab all the way. All up to Sivakarthikeyan’s musings to pull this one out.

Yennama Ippadi Panreengale Maa Club Mix: Singers – D.Imman and Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam: Undoubtedly, this is the most innovative track in the album, which is conventional Imman all the way. Yet, the mixing feels inappropriate at places. Manages to pass muster overall.
