PVP Cinema acquires remake rights for Bangalore Days

Bangalore Days is a critically acclaimed and a successfully running Malayalam film across the country. The film is directed by Anjali Menon and features Fahadh Faasil, Nivin Pauly, Dulquer Salman, Nithya Menen, Parvathi Menon, Nazriya and Isha Talwar. PVP Cinema and Dil Raju have jointly purchased the all-India remake rights for the film. The makers are to planning to release the film as a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu respectively. Both Tamil and Telugu versions will be directed by Baskar of Bommarillu (original version of Santhosh Subramaniam) fame.

The casting for the film is already underway and the names that are doing rounds currently are Arya, Siddharth, Naani and Samantha. Even Samantha tweeted few days back that her next would be a multi-starrer. “Discussions are at a very advanced stage with three leading heroes and heroines to replicate the roles in both Tamil and Telugu,” says an official press note from PVP Cinema.
