Purampokku’s 45-day schedule begins

Ever since the premise of SP Jananathan directorial Purampokku was disclosed, it has piqued the curiosity of the audience big-time. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the film is a multi-starrer featuring Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Shaam and Karthika Nair in lead roles. Purampokku deals about capital punishment and its relevance in a democratic society like India.

A huge prison set has been mounted in Perambur’s  Binny Mills for the current leg of shooting. This schedule will go for the next 45 days and all the lead actors will join the team. UTV is planning to release the film after Gaurav’s Vikram Prabhu starrer Sigaram Thodu.
