Priyadarshan secures Hindi remake rights of Visaaranai

After wowing audiences in Tamil Nadu, Visaaranai is all set for release in Mumbai this week with English subtitles. Meanwhile, the latest update is veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan who watched it long back has acquired the Hindi remake rights for the film.

Vetrimaaran has confirmed the news and also clarified that Akshay Kumar, as speculated by a section of the media, will not be a part of the remake. However, Akshay will watch the special premiere of Visaaranai tomorrow in Mumbai.
