Lyca rubbishes rumors on Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada

After reports surfaced saying Lyca Productions has secured the theatrical rights of Simbu’s Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada, Raju Mahalingam, creative head, Lyca Productions, rubbished it as rumors. He also revealed that Dhanush-Vetrimaaran’s co-production Visaaranai is the only film Lyca has in hand to distribute and nothing else. Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai, which will hit cinemas for the harvest festival, is being released by Ayngaran International and the recently released posters of the film reaffirm the same.

Directed by Gautham Menon, Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada features Simbu and Manjima Mohan in the lead roles and the team is yet to wrap up shooting for the film. Lyca’s ongoing projects include Rajinikanth-Shankar’s 2.o and Sam Anton-GV Prakash’s yet-untitled flick.
