Lingaa’s 40-day long first schedule begins

After a lot of hide and seek being played over the past one month, director KS Ravikumar finally revealed the much-anticipated project Lingaa on his official Facebook page putting the rumors and speculations to rest. The film has Superstar Rajinikanth playing a dual role. And, it is expected to be an out and out commercial entertainment like the duo’s earlier films like Muthu and Padayappa.

The team has already started to Mysore. The crew will shoot some important sequences belonging to the post independent story of the film in Mysore for the next 40 days. After the first schedule, the team will head to Ramoji film city in Hyderabad where grand sets will be erected to recreate the authentic pre-independence era of the film. It has music by AR Rahman. Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty play the lead roles opposite Rajinikanth. Rathnavelu handles the cinematography.
