Of enticing quality and ethnicity!

Kutram Kadithal possesses the quality that a soundtrack needs to catch the interest of the audience who are looking for good content. The songs are made for the film and not the other way round, which implies that they will work best with the film.

Lyrics: Gerald Dhirav, MahaKavi Subramaniya Bharathiyar, Bramma G

Music: Shankar Rangarajan

Direction: Bramma G

Label: JSK Audio

  •  Kaalai Nila; Singers : Madhu Balakrishnan, Bindhu Malini; Lyrics : Gerald Dhirav – Featuring an enduring rendition from Madhu Balakrishnan, the sound track of Kutram Kadithal starts off in superb fashion with Kaalai Nila. The song has a pleasant feel attached to it, and delivers it pretty neatly
  •  Sing a Song; Singers: Aishwarya & Chorus; Lyrics: Bramma G – Here comes a simple school jingle which sounds just like a nursery rhyme. A completely listenable English song in a Tamil film is a rarity, doubtlessly
  • Chinnanchiru Kiliyae (Duet); Singers: Yazhini, Rakesh Raghunanthan & Chorus; Lyrics: MahaKavi Subramaniya Bharathiyar – Shankar Rangarajan brings back the celebrated Chinnanchiru Kiliyae in an absolutely heartening rehash, belted with the stupendous lead vocals and chorus additions. The piano in the song works wonderfully in its favour, as this goes on to become our PICK of the album. And, do we need to mention the significant lyrics of Bharathiyar? It goes without saying!
  •  Naagangal Rendu; Singer: Bindhu Malini; Lyrics: Bramma G – An extraordinary rendition from Bindhu Malini is Naagangal Rendu, put to the tune of some great sounds of the string. Another PICK in the album!
  •  Chinnanchiru Kiliyae (Male); Singers: Rakesh Raghunanthan & Chorus; Lyrics: MahaKavi Subramaniya Bharathiyar – A solo version of the third track in the album. This one is no different from that, as it comes with the same amount of positive feels as the duet version
  •  Theriyaamal Annanai; Singers: Purisai Sammantham & Chorus; Lyrics: Bramma G – Few days ago, we heard Kuppane Kuppane from Kallappadam and got introduced to the Koothu genre. Kutram Kadithal has a similarity to the same dance form, and this song co-relates to that. An edutaining number, to say the least
  •  Theme Music – A moving theme track to coincide with the proceedings of the film. The use of the flute at the beginning is commendable!
  •  Kannurangu; Singer: Josephine Rani; Lyrics: Jebamaalai Irudhayam – A slow-paced recital which is more like a lullaby. The lyrics are what might interest you in this 10 minute long rendition
