Kodi likely to start rolling from Dec 23rd

Dhanush’s upcoming political thriller, the tentatively titled Kodi is likely to go on floors in Pollachi from December 23rd. The makers conducted a formal pooja for the film four days back in a low-key affair in Chennai. Dhanush is awaiting the release of Thanga Magan on December 18th and will take a four-day break before he moves on to Kodi, according to a source in the know.

Dhanush has also clarified in a recent media interaction that Kodi is only a working title and the team may go for a title change later. Also, he revealed that SA Chandrasekhar is not playing his father but an important role in the film. Trisha and Shamlee play the female leads and Dhanush will be playing a dual role for the first time.
