Kirumi Songs Review

Review Overview

OC Soru
Naanal Poovai
Naa Parraka
Vaal Veesum Vaazhkai
Boom Boom Boodham
Orayiram Ottaigal

Fairly likable OST

Over the expanse of six songs, Kirumi has two tracks which manage to linger on. With the songs catering to the story, we can expect more in the background score.

Cast: Kathir, Reshmi Menon

Music: K

Lyrics: S.Gnanakaravel

Direction: Anucharan

Label: Think Music

OC Soru: Singer – Gaana Bala

K churns out a typecast gaana for the album’s opener, which has Gaana Bala on the vocals. The light additions of accordion make this harmless.

Naanal Poovai: Singer – Jananie, K

Simple lyrics and a lovely tune complete this serene love ballad which instantly climbs onto you. The peculiar vocals of Jananie are a delight, this is Our PICK!

Naa Parraka: Singer – GV Prakash Kumar

GV Prakash’s stupendous flow is evident on the mic here, as he breathes a lot of life into this otherwise easy goer. Another PICK!

Vaal Veesum Vaazhkai: Singer – Gaana Bala

An underwhelming number which has no big takeaway. It might be too simple to be effective.

Boom Boom Boodham: Singer – Yazin Nizar

While K’s orchestration stays faithful to a lot of his earlier compositions, Yazin Nizar does just enough to make this worth a try.

Orayiram Ottaigal: Singer – K

A strictly average track ends the album. Depending on the situations in the film, this will click.
