Keerthana joins Mani Ratnam’s next
Keerthana, who won a national award for her performance as Amudha in Mani Ratnam’s Kannathil Muthamittal, will be assisting the taskmaster for his next yet-untitled film which will start rolling from end-2015. She will join Mani’s efficient team of assistant directors for the project.
The film stars Karthi and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles. While Shruti Haasan is the leading choice for one of the female leads, Keerthy Suresh’s name is doing rounds for the other role. An official confirmation is expected from the auteur soon.
