Kavan possesses a lot of energy, but the concoction is mostly inappropriate. Hip Hop Tamizha shows promise to churn out lively music, but in hindsight, the noise factor better be kept under control. Currently, middling stuff.

Jolly good party song energized by the variant vocals and horn sounds. The lyrics are carefree, but somewhere in between, there is a catchy hook which does make it work. Our PICK.
Oxygen: Singers – Hip Hop Tamizha, Sudarshan Ashok
The flow here is lovely, as it comfortably sits with the tune and the breezy renditions. The idea of the alternating male duet works wonders, as this will go on to become one of the early hits of the year. The second PICK.

An underwhelming jingle which despite its wannabe happy mood, falls short of excitement.

What starts off as a whacky new mix which attempts to traverse rap and carnatic shades, drops in the fun quotient midway. It’s a song which works in parts. But yes, the lyrics deserve some attention.
Boomerang: Singers – Hip Hop Tamizha, Velmurugan, Nikita Gandhi, Kaushik Krish
Another usual HHT number with a fast pace and a couple of synths. The club beats do come in, but the song lacks an x-factor.
