“Kathakali will not fit into the convention of other Vishal films”

Director Pandiraj has assured that his forthcoming film Kathakali, which is slated to hit screens for Pongal, will not fit into the convention of other Vishal films. “This will be completely new. What happens when a normal guy is provoked? There is no villain in the film. Circumstances play that role. You can witness my style in the film’s action. You will not see anyone fly. The hero will not thrash 10 random people to smitheerens,” says Pandiraj.

“Kathakali is all about what happens when an individual is stirred up by meaningful anger. The film starts in Chennai and ends in Kadalur. A joyful, happening life of a youngster is interrupted by the fate of circumstances.  There are some cute romance portions between Vishal and Catherine Tresa. Definitely, there is no dance sequence where Vishal grooves alongside 30 colorful dancers,” adds Pandiraj about the film.
