Karunas joins Vada Chennai

Karunas and Dhanush’s combination scenes in Vetrimaaran’s maiden feature Polladhavan are remembered even today for the rib-tickling comedy. Now, Karunas has been roped in to play an important role in Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai, which is being planned as a trilogy.

The film went on floors last month in a jail set erected in Chennai. Andrea Jeremiah is said to be playing the role of a prostitute. Samantha was reported to play a slum dweller but the recent reports on her engagement with Naga Chaitanya have led to speculations about her participation in the project. Santhosh Narayanan will compose music for the film.
