Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi nears completion
Karthik Subbaraj, who delivered a genre-bending second feature film with Jigarthanda, is aiming to complete his third film Iraivi in another two weeks, according a source close to the unit. The team is expected to wrap up the film by the end of September.
Touted as a family drama, Iraivi features an ensemble cast of Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Vijay Sethupathi, Anjali and Kamalini Mukherjee in the lead roles. It has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. There are also unconfirmed reports that the makers are eyeing for a Diwali release.
