Karthi to romance Shruti Haasan in Gokul’s ‘Kashmora’?
We earlier reported here that Karthi’s next will be directed by Gokul of Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumaraa fame. Now, the latest news is Shruti Haasan’s name is in the running for the lead role opposite Karthi. Shruti Haasan is currently busy with Vishal’s Poojai and she will team up with Vijay for Chimbu Devan’s untitled project once Kaththi and Poojai get completed. There are rumors that Karthi – Gokul film has been titled ‘Kashmora‘, which means something related to conjuring spirits.

“Yes, Karthi is my hero. We are still finalizing the other casting. It’s too premature to speculate things now. We’ll firm things up in a week,” says Gokul to a daily. Anirudh has also been approached for music.
