Karthi confirms his next with Sathuranga Vettai Vinoth

Karthi confirmed that his upcoming line-up of projects at the press meet of Thozha yesterday. He said he will be working with Mani Ratnam and Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai fame for his upcoming projects. “I was initially skeptical about doing this film but Vamshi has adapted it beautifully. It’s not a remake but an adaptation. The local flavor has been added through beautiful dialogues. Special thanks to Raju Murugan (director of Cuckoo) sir. His dialogues are penned beautifully. He has adapted the dialogues with Tamil favor nicely,” said Karthi.

Karthi, who was passionately involved in all aspects of filmmaking including music, lyrics and cinematography, was lauded by everyone in the team. “Vamshi has told me that he will give credits to me as an actor & assistant director in the film’s title credits,” said Karthi in a light-hearted tone.

“Emotions and humor are laced into the screenplay seamlessly. Thozha will be a beautiful, meaningful journey. PVP Cinema gave us the best crew, locations & everything we asked for. We shot in the most expensive places abroad. Working with Nagarjuna sir was a lifetime experience for me. A dream come true moment for me,” Karthi added.
