Largely peculiar sounds!
Joker is easily Sean Roldan’s best album in his career so far. There is a peculiar sound surrounding the whole album, be it the singers or the orchestrations. They might not be radio-friendly or playlist material, but Joker is definitely a brave step in the direction in which Tamil film music must be treading.

Ola Ola Kudisaiyila: Singers – Murugavel, KarthikaVaidyanathan
The simplistic nature of the song is what makes it click. Murugavel and Karthika happen to be natural renderers, with proficient pronunciation. The music takes a slight turn halfway, making it even better in the latter half.
Jasmine-U: Singer – Sundarayyar
Old-styled accordions synchronized to a likable drum setup. The mischievous lyrics, lively vocals the music come together wonderfully, this is an instantly foot-tapping track.
Chellamma: Singers – K Perumal, Sean Roldan, M Lalitha Sudha
This is one of the most interesting tunes in the recent past. The intertwining between the Hindi and the Tamil portions are seamless here, with the Carnatic start slowly shifting gears to a tonic melody. Sean Roldan’s Hindi delivery may not be out of the box, but it sure does ring the bell. Our PICK!

For those of you who have come this long to find a crowd-friendly track, here it is. And Roldan doesn’t let it go there, making up with his insanely addictive fresh tune brought to life by the vocals of Kalyani Nair. Another PICK!

A decent theme track which stands out thanks to Rani’s job on the mic.
