Jigarthanda goes to Bollywood

Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda has earned immense amount of accolades from critics and film buffs. Starring Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles, the film has Bobby Simha as the protagonist. The number of screens have already been increased all over Tamil Nadu due to largely positive reviews.

Now, producer Kathiresan who just bought the remake rights of Rajinikanth’s yesteryear classic Moondru Mugam has one more reason to celebrate. He has revealed that a leading production house has approached for acquiring the remake rights for Jigarthanda. More details are awaited. Karthik Subbaraj’s debut film Pizza was also remade in Hindi and released recently.
