‘I’ censored U/A; team goes for revising committee
The much anticipated film Vikram – Shankar’s I cleared the censors with a U/A certificate. For a film which is made on a lavish budget of around 100 crores, securing a U certificate is crucial since it opens avenues for tax exemption as well and invites more audiences to theaters. The makers are now planning to go for the revising committee since the stakes involved are steep than what meets the eye.
Meanwhile, cinematographer PC Sreeram confirmed few days back that the film is slated to hit screens on January 9th, a week before the Pongal festivities begin. Directed by Shankar and Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, I has Vikram and Amy Jackson as leads. Also, the trailer is expected is planned to be released at 10 PM tonight!
