Great demand for Kabali Telugu rights
According to trade sources, the Telugu distribution rights of Rajinikanth’s Kabali is in great demand and popular producers including Dil Raju, Suresh Babu and Sunil Narang are competing to secure it. Sources say Kalaipuli S Thanu has set the asking price for Telugu theatrical rights including the satellite deal at approximately Rs. 30 crores.
There are trade reports that the pre-release business for the film, which is all set for release on July 1st, will shoot up to a record-breaking price of INR 200 crore. All eyes are now set on the audio launch of the film, which is expected to happen on June 9th in Chennai.
