After Aadukalam, Dhanush and Vetrimaaran’s Kaakka Muttai goes to TIFF
Dhanush – Vetrimaaran’s Aadukalam was screened at the Toronto International FilmFestival in 2011 after its official release in India and received rave reviews from the audience in Canada. Now, Kaaka Muttai jointly produced by Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company and Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films will have its world premiere in the Canada-based Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from Sep 4 to Sep 14. This is the first Tamil to have a world premiere in Toronto International Film Festival.
Directed by Manikandan, the film has a bunch of newcomers and Baby Antony and Aishwarya Rajesh in important roles. It has music by GV Prakash. Can Dhanush and Vetrimaaran repeat the Aadukalam success in TIFF this year?
