Dhanush injured on Anegan sets

Dhanush is currently on cloud nine for the flattering responses he’s been getting for the trailer of Velai Illa Pattathaari where he is paired with Amala Paul for the first time. His quintessential jabs and gags set the internet on fire yesterday. VIP is scheduled to be released in July by Escape Artists Motion Pictures. Dhanush is also part of KV Anand’s Anegan, the shooting for which is inching towards completion.

While doing a stunt sequence for the film, Dhanush has injured himself on the sets. “We were shooting a stunt sequence and I had to run. While doing so, my leg got stuck in the trolley and I didn’t realize it. As a result, it got twisted. I have a secondgrade ligament snap and I have been advised three weeks rest. But I am cheating my doctor and continuing to shoot,” said Dhanush.
