Lively, Enjoyable Numbers!

Though it falls short of its Hindi counterpart, Devi is an enjoyable soundtrack. With pep and the melodies taking control in equality, this accounts to be a good listen on the whole. Rarely does a translated album work, and the team should be happy about getting it right this time.

Completely fun-spitting dance track that is sure to hold onto you on the first listen itself. Benny Dayal infuses a ton of energy into this one, which has enough and more of catchy hooks. This is sure to climb up the charts quickly, our PICK!

Gokka Makka: Singer – Shivranjani Singh

The start of the song offers a great platform for a perfect dance track, but once the vocals come in, the song dips. Shivranjani Singh might have been a good pick for the Hindi version, but she seems uncomfortable crooning in Tamil.

Pesamal Pesi Paarthen: Singer – Karthik

A simple, feel good romance number with Karthik doing justice through his rendition. A sweeping composition, which will work for the time being.

Rang Rang Rangoli: Singer – Shreya Ghoshal

Shreya Ghoshal weaves her magic wand all over this beautiful, pinning song. With a near-perfect vocal setup, she hits it out of the park. Vishal Mishra’s tune nicely complements the rest, becoming our PICK.
