CV Kumar and Sashikant join hands for Maddy’s Irudhi Suttru

It’s official now. Two assuring producers of Tamil cinema, CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment and Sashikant of YNOT Studios have joined hands for Madhavan’s upcoming Tamil-Hindi bi-lingual. The film has been titled ‘Irudhi Suttru’ in Tamil and ‘Saala Khadoos’ in Hindi. It is directed by Sudha Kongara, a former assistant of Mani Ratnam.

The shooting commenced yesterday in the city. Ritika Singh and Mumtaz Sorcar, two professional boxers have been roped in play the lead roles opposite Maddy in the film. In addition to being a full-fledged sports drama, the film will also focus on the  human side of the boxing world. While Santhosh Narayanan composes music, cinematography will be handled by Shiva and editing by Praveen KL. Will Maddy make a comeback as a boxer?
