Confirmed: Trisha and Jai team up for Manimaaran’s next

We earlier reported here that Trisha was approached to play the lead role in Jai’s upcoming yet-untitled film with director Manimaaran of Udhayam NH4 fame. Now, she recently confirmed in an interview that she’s on board and looking to accommodate dates for this flick and Suraaj – Jayam Ravi’s film where she plays one of the two female leads.

It is produced by Varun Manian’s Radiance Media and Sushant Prasad’s Film Department. “The casting process is underway. It’s an urban story laced with action and has a unique plot,” said Manimaaran. Vivek-Mervin, the composing duo who scored music for Vadacurry have been roped in too. The shooting for the film will commence next month.
