Chekka Chivantha Vaanam shooting briskly progressing in ECR
The shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is briskly progressing in East Coast Road on the outskirts of Chennai. Jyotika, who plays an important role in the film, has already started shooting.
CCV stars Simbu in the role of an engineer and Arvind Swami as a politician. Also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay and Aishwarya Rajesh in important roles, the film also has Appani Sarath of Angamaly Diaries fame in its supporting cast.
The story of the film is said to revolve around industrial pollution, environmental activists, and politicians. AR Rahman will compose music for the film, which is jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
