Chandrababu Naidu agrees to attend Cheekati Rajyam premiere

As Thoonga Vanam has received positive reviews across the board, Kamal Haasan is gearing up for the release of Cheekati Rajyam, the Telugu version which is set to hit screens on the 20th of November in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Kamal Haasan called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu yesterday to seek his permission to hold the premiere of Cheekati Rajyam in Vijayawada and invite him for the screening.

“I went to seek his permission to have the premiere in Vijayawada and to invite him to be among the audience to see our film. He kindly agreed. We are trying to arrange a premiere of Cheekati Raajyam in both Hyderabad and Telangana the same day and I’m planning to attend both the premiers. The show timings will have a six-hour gap to facilitate hassle-free travel for the stars,” said Kamal Haasan.
