Bollywood actor Vipin Sharma joins Kaatru Veliyidai

Bollywood actor Vipin Sharma, best known for his roles in Gangs of Wasseypur, Taare Zameen Par and Raanjhanaa, has been roped in by Mani Ratnam to play an important role in Kaatru Veliyidai, which stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. This also marks his debut in the southern film industry.

Also starring veteran actor Delhi Ganesh, who has earlier worked with Mani Ratnam in films like Nayagan and Iruvar, the shooting is currently progressing in Ooty. While Ravi Varman handles the cinematography, the music for the film will be composed by AR Rahman.
