Bobby Simhaa’s ‘Paambhu Sattai’ has a Sathuranga Vettai-inspired plot

We earlier reported here that Bobby Simha will play the lead role in his next film Paambhu Sattai directed by Adam Dasan, a former associate of Shankar. Speaking at the film’s launch, Adam Dasan said, “Paambhu Sattai is a Chennai-based film and deals about the problems of a middle-class household. It’s also about how they easily get conned and get trapped in tricky situations. Black humor will be a subtle part of the film, which also talks about how some people do anything to con people and earn money.”

The plot looks almost similar on the lines of Vinoth directed Sathuranga Vettai, one of this year’s biggest hits. Interestingly, Manobala who co-produces Paambhu Sattai with Radhika Sarathkumar, bankrolled Sathuranga Vettai as his maiden production venture.
