Arya and Vijay Sethupathi’s role in Purampokku

The shooting for Purampokku is going on in full swing in Perambur Binny Mills for the past few days. It’s a 45-day shoot and all the leading actors will be part of this crucial schedule. SP Jananathan is currently shooting scenes featuring Arya and Shaam. Vijay Sethupathi and Karthika Nair are likely to join the team in a week.

“Arya plays the role of a financial analyst and is a convict in jail. Vijay Sethupathi essays the role of a railway kalasi,” reveals a source in the unit. That Shaam is playing a police officer in the film is well-known. The film deals about the darker side of death punishment in a democratic society and also about the plight of abandoned prisoners.
