24 sets benchmark in the US for a Non-Rajinikanth/Shankar film
The theaters list for both Tamil and Telugu versions for Suriya’s 24 has been released by the US distributor Cine Galaxy, who tasted phenomenal success in Vijay’s Theri which breached the $1 million mark comfortably. 24 will be released in a record 267 screens – 134 in Tamil and 133 in Telugu, thanks to the simultaneous release in both languages by the team.
The movie goes for censors today and will be certified by the board. The full-fledged business is expected to kickstart once the censor formalities are done. Directed by Vikram Kumar, 24 stars Suriya in a triple role and Samantha and Nithya Menen as female leads. The movie is slated to hit the screens on May 6th.
